My Midi out stopped working

I got a 2000xl and all of the sudden my midi out stopped sending signals. it can recieve but not send. what should i do? what would repair run, if needed? thanks in advance and i hope i wasn't vague. Also i checked all other options of my set-up. it's the mpc

please make sure you have a track set to midi and the proper midi channel/out (A orB), then try again. and no i have never heard one person complain that their midi outs on the mpc stopped working. also, try the other midi out. report back. peace.

thanks, no i got a midi track set-up in sonar. i cansend data to the MPC. but when i try to check if it recieves data from the MP. no data gets sent. i also tried both outs. this sucks.

i'm an idiot. this is the first time tryin to set a midi set-up. sorry to waste your time . I've read through the entire manual and didin't know you had to set it up like that? thanks alot.
