Is the MPC 2000 compatible with the 3000 ???

I was just wondering if you can load .PGM, .ALL and .SND of the MPC 2000 into the MPC 3000 ?

I'm asking because I think about changing my 2000 for a 3000.

I don't think so.
What you can do though is cop MPC Editor or MPCPGMMaker and convert all of your sounds/programs and then save all of your 2000 sequences as midi standard files. (remember any sound that is muted in the sequence doesn't show up on the midi standard file at all.) That way, your 3000 could access the sequences and the sounds/programs.

It's a pain, but it's the only way to do it now.

I would keep the 2000 to tell the truth...but that's just me.
