How do you all save your project??

I got Zip 100MB

and I made for every project 1 folder..with the sounds, prog and seq in the folder.

Is that the good way?

because when I want to save a sample I've already used before and saved the new project I got the same sample twice on my zip and that cost kB.

Or do you all have different folders like: Hihats, Kicks, Bass...
and folders with project1, project 2 etc. with your program and seq in the folder and the samples in anothes folder...?

I use a folder for each song. Not too bothered about using samples twice on the same disk, zip disks are not very expensive if you get them off Ebay. I also back up each song to my PC hard drive and also onto CD from there. Cant be too careful

I do the same thing as the Tutor..!!

Nriq if i cop them for us it will cost 4 bucks or some a piece

could someone possibly offer a step by step, remedial example of saving a sequence and all of its details in one folder, because I run into problems with having to load too many sounds/programs from different disks...

I save all my drum sounds, basses, and other sounds I'll use on more than one beat in different folders IE Kicks, Snares, Hats, Basses, etc

Then I make a folder for each beat I make and save the sequences, song file, samples, programs, etc.

But, ik foy save the seq and programs in a different folder then the samples sperated...
isn't this a problem??
