If I have also Midi in and Midi out on my keyboard, does this mean I can use sounds from my keyboard in my MPC?

It doesn't work :( I want to play some notes on my MPC wit my MIDI keyboard...with sounds on my MPC...
The only thing I did was plug the out in the midi in MPC...

midi only sends data back and forth not actual sounds. well that is not entirely true, but for now just think of it like this. when you hit a key on your computer keyboard it sends a signal to the computer with an ascii code telling the computer what key you hit.
midi works the same way, it send a note on message telling the sound source (whatever is midi'd up that acually generates sound) what note you hit. you can sequence sounds on your keyboard into the mpc sequencer. basically you plug the midi out from the keys to midi in on the mpc and the midi out from the mpc to the midi in on the keyboard. if you want to use sounds from both the mpc and the keyboard at the same time you need a mixer. plug the audio outs from both the mpc and the keyboard into their own channels on a mixer and you will be able to hear them both. i believe there is a midi tutorial on this site that should give you more exact settings.
