dose the effect board tempo sync

On the triton you can sync the effects to the tempo of the sequencer. Is this function available on the EBX16 or any other FX boards for the MPC?

No - you have to set the delay time manually to fit into your track tempo.

BTE - there's only one effect board for the MPC2000/XL

and to figure out how many ms to set your delay to, this program is REALLY useful:
