Anyone using HI MD for storage?

I just bought that new sony mz rh10 minidisc recorder. What's nice is you can store up to 1 gig of data on a $6 HI MD disc with no need for other drivers. As soon as it arrives and I cop a usb scsi cable I will report back with results.

Back in the days i also wanted to try the MD-route for recording my MPC-output... until some articules showed me MD-recorders cuts of certained
Sound/signal ranges.

And connect it to what? Please explain to us how this would work.

MD unit has USB 1.0 port.

USB to SCSI adaptor cable. USB from minidisc, SCSI to mpc.

And I'm still hunting around for one.

I don't know that this is gonna work yo...

That will definately NOT work. Since those SCSI-USB cables need driver software and your MPC can not run those required drivers. On top of that I think you need driver software to save data via the usb connector on the MD unit. Also this driver software can not be run on the MPC.
So you might as well stop hunting around for one, if you were planning to use it as a storage device for your MPC.
