i have search the entire forum for just about a month now, can anyone tell me is thier another way to get the bpm of a cd when you sample from it !

yes yes yes.
first sample the cd / track you want to know the bpm
second make a perfect loop > listen for 4 snares like this
..s....s....s....s.. = perfect loop
second in trim press edit turn main dial til it says time stretch
hit bpm F2 set beat to 8 = your bpm.

^^^^Thats how I do it.

Also, you can get a BPM readout in Acid Pro, or numerous other software programs including WinBPM.
