My 2000XL won't send sound o sample

No sound comes out of my 2000XL's headphone jack or the stereo outs.
And, it won't let me sample anything. Is there some kind of reset to put everything back to normal? Help!! I'm in the middle of a session! Thanx for your time.

sounds like crappy RAM, or the RAM got knocked loose, or you just filled up your RAM.

Make sure you have your work already saved, shutdown, power back on and see what happens.

Tried that Didn't work. You can load samples and hear them through the other outs. Just not the stereo outs or the headphone jack. And, it won't allow me to sample. Could I have pushed the wrong button. I'm new to this. Thanks.

oh. you have the sounds going to the 8 outs.

are you not hearing the sounds when you hit the pad, or when you playback a sequence?

No. I'm not hearing them on either.

Is the main out connected ? is its volume turned up ? in the mixer page is any of the pads of your program actually routed to the main outs ?

When you say you can't sample do you mean the sampling screen doesn't show any signal coming in or can't you monitor the signal coming in ?
