just got an 2000xL used from ebay with a zip...when i hook up the zip drive to the MPC and try to make the MPC recognize it it says

"SCSI conflict on #6!"

ive tried with zip at ID 5 and 6, with termination on and off.

what the hell is going on? did i get a bunk zip/MPC?

ok keep it on ID 5 and Termination ON

restart your mpc and goto the load/save screen.....

sometimes if your zip drive is off (when your on the load/save screen) THEN you turn the drive on it will still give you an error. all you have to do is press a button and it'll try to load from it again and it should work......you've probably already tried this but that conflict on ID error is common....should be simple to fix...

been there dogg! aint a thang man. ill tell you what though, get ready for more headaches in the future. zip drives dont seem to be the most reliable things around but if you can take care of it as much as possible do that. you'll get some errors from time to time. but usually nothing major! pm me if you have any other problems, i might be able to help who knows
