can you use the 8 indv.output board of the mpc2000 on the mpc2000xl?

i've got one laying around here,but i want to make shure i don't put any wrong parts in my 2000xl...

does anybody have an answer for me?

is that "yes" as in yes you can use it in the 2000xl
or
is it "yes" as in i've got an answer for you?

yes you cna use the 8 out of the mpc2000 in the xl
