using multible sound modules

I have 6 sound moudules hooked up to my mpc 2000xl i tring to figure out if there is a way to play the sound of one module without playing all three lets say midi channel a and the other three are midi channel b i want to use all six with out three playing the same thing i think i said that right

Use different midi channels for each one.
