pc problem

i have about 30 or 40 diffrent kits on my pc but my motherboard went bad first i tried puttin my hard drives in another computer but windows xp knows what kinda hardware it's on so that didn't work i have the kits on a data disc but my mpc doesn't have a floppy or zip drive it only has a memory stick and cf card slots when i tried to play the files off the disc off a computer to the mpc the sound is terrible it's all air does anybody have a solution to my problem

Using the proper punctuation would be a great help.

Your mother board should see the hard drive if you keep it as a slave to the master hard drive on the same ribbon cable.
