Sound Modules and Sound Disks

yo i got an MPC 2000 (getting delivered this week) and im lookin to buy some sound disks and/or sound modules do they have to specifically be like Akai ones? or could the sound modules be like Roland and Korg? if anyones got any suggestions for any modules let me know. And with the sound disks do you have to convert them to a diff format? if so how

and if u gone get down with AKAI cd's understand Windows not going to see em in yo cd drive

your going to need a program like CDXTRACT to extract the samples of the cd to the computer
