assign effect to note

just got the eb.

how do you assign an effect to a note (ie reverb to a copy of a snare I have assigned to a program)

The manual makes it look like you can only assign to a program as a whole, which I know is not the case

Looked it up on the site search but found zilch

(btw how do you search for a phrase here... like this "assign effect to note" or (assign effect to note) or some other way)

To assign effects.....

Hold shift and press 7 (mixer screen)
press F3 (FX send)
Select desired pad or pads
Raise send level
Select Effect (above send levels)
