converting sounds

i have a regualr mpc 2000, then i have a drum disc with all the sounds being .wav, how and what way do i convert the sounds to floppy so my mpc can read and use the sounds.

Get a zip drive and transfer the sounds to zip and pull them up from there the 2000 classic reads wavs.

dBpowerAMP Music Converter. good free ware app for converting.

find some one with an MPC2000xl load the sounds on the XL then resave them as .SND on a zip disc. Then load .SND files in your MPC2000. I dont think the 2000 reads .wav only the XL does.

They both read wav.
Format the floppy on your computer via fat16, save the wav's on the floppy, then load the wav's into your mpc.. Done.

Wav's should be 44khz, 16bit, if not you will get errors when loading..

The 2000 classic reads wavs it just can't read disks with folders on them, which really sucks.
