Internal 100 MB zip drive

I've just installed an internal 100 MB zip drive in my 2000xl, the problem is that the MPC does not turn on. I was wondering if this was the same bug that MPC tutor referred to when he said that the MPC wouldn't boot up. If anyone has had a similar problem please respond.

Depends on what you mean by `not turn on`.

Does it not power up at all, no lights?

Or does it not boot?

It does not power up at all.

That could be a serious issue with the MPC's power supply bieng damaged. This could be cheked with simple multimeter.
