Does anyone have a source for the small screws that hold the bottom plate on the underside of the XL. I need a few new ones and Akai was no help what so ever. I also need extra screws for the 4000. The XL screws appear to be 4/16 in length and the 4000 screws are 5/16. They are both the same diameter. Anyone know where I can find extras?I've tried several hardware stores and Radioshack with no luck. The closet thing I could find was a screw from the back of my Sony dvd player. It fits perfect but is much too long at 1/2 inch. Obviously, these are some kind of special consumer electronics screw. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
