I am just looking for some sampling tips

1. Sometimes when I sample certain pieces of music, and try playing it in a sequence, it starts to stutter repetitvely, How Do I stop this from accuring?

2. When Sampling- If I certain piece of music that has vocals to it, How can I change the speed of the vocals without effecting the speed of the actual music

Thanks for your help,

1) Don't push the pad so many times. Once is the recommended amount of times. Maybe you have some setting on which is causing it to loop . The loop function is a likely cause in this case.

2) Find someone who can sing fast. Even if it were possible to do that why would you want to ? How about sampling at a faster speed and mixing it with the original - just make sure it's in tune.

Just don't ask how to filter vocals out of a track because that is also pretty much impossible.

This may not be the right place to ask these questions.

Reading the manual is also a highly recommended activity.

About question 1: Have you set the samples to mono. When theyare in poly mode they will do that repeating thing.

yeah i was gonna say that . the other hting is that when you hit the pads and you kind of do it lazy / slow you sometimes get the sound twice . so it's got to be clean and fast to stop this .
