cannot get MPC2000 to boot from SCSi

I did like the manual said and copied the operating system in the DISK menu, but when I start up it looks for all the scsi drives stops at 5 which my zip disc is on, then keeps going and says insert system disc. anyone have any ideas?

I have a SCSI CD Rom connected but that maybe a little different.

I was just curious, when you are booting it you don't have a Win XP formatted disk in the drive?

I know the MPC can't read a Fat32 formmated disk so i was just wondering if it tried to read it and couldn't and just came back with a stupid error.

well, you could have a point because I did not format the disk when I bought it, I just started using it. do you think I should have formatted it in the MPC?

also, how do you like reason? I'm considering using it.

Well as far as the formatting of the disk just make sure you choose the option in XP to format as "FAT" not "FAT32" the MPC can't read that

But yea , I love Reason 3.0!
