My PC won't read Compact Flash Formated in Mpc

I recently installed a sychrotech ide multi card reader, it works fine.
I inserted an 8mb CF and formated it in the MPC, I've been making beats and saving in the mcd.
Now i'm trying to open the CF in my PC using an external USB-MCD, the problem is, the pc isn't reading it. Any thoughts guys? Thanks.

The PC can't read your MPC formatted disks . You need to format your disks on the PC as FAT / FAT16 for them to be readable by both the MPC and computer . I think the reason your computer cannot read the MPC formatted disk is probably because your running XP and the hard drive is formatted as NTFS .

I think what you would do is load up your MPC with whatever you want to save, then format the card on a FAT32 machine (anything running Win 98, ME, 2000 I guess) and then put the card back in the MPC and re-save the files on the card. Would that work
