18gb External Scsi Hard Drive on MPC2000

Hi all,

Has anybody ever managed to successfully hook up an 18gb External Scsi Hard Drive onto an MPC2000?

I have no trouble hooking up a Lacie 4gb Drive, but I've purchased an 18gb one from afterthemac.com and the MPC just won't recognise/format it.

Is 18gb too large for the 2k?

Any help/experience would be much appreciated.

i got a 17gb external hard drive that my 2000xl doesn't recognise, sometimes it's due to the model of the hard drive ,some work some don't.
