Ok, been away for a moment but lately have aquired some problems with my borrowed MPC 2000.

The screen appears to be fading...lines are coming across the screen and I fear I've either done something or that age is taking it's toll on this baby.

I can still read the screen however, a couple of more lines across it may be unreadable.

Any suggestions as to what may be going on?

what up Latasha, DStruct here.

Yo, i got those lines too, vertical right? yeah i think thats just the screen burning out, and if im not mistaken your gonna need a new screen ma. flowers it though. Can you still read it? you know what it says right? Sh*t, i bet your friends in the lab cant though, so no one else is gonna wanna flowers with it if they cant read the screen haha.

i got the flowers up screen and the custom paint with no words on the face, so everyone is lost sittin down with my mpc.

but yo, i think you can order the screen straight from akai, if you want it.

try the search next time too, theres been mad threads about this

That's terribly strange.

:?

Problem is, I don't have anywhere to transport in my crib. For now, I'm just keeping a close eye on the lines.

I would say that I have about 3 or 4.
