Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

For the MPC 2000 XL...How do you match a sample and the clicking together so the sample is tight? I tried to sample a sound and loop it (2 bars) but when I went to listen to it the sample had a small gap in it. Is there a way I can close that gap to tighten the sample?

Here are differet ways you can do it

1. Change the BPM (TEMPO) on the MPC as it plays to try find a loop point
2. "TAP" the tap tempo button like a drum to the time of the sample this will give you the average and try and close it in for u

3. depending on the sample you can TUNE, or PTICH it up or down to play on the tempi u want this will slightly change the way your sample sounds.

4. if u dont like PITCH u can use time stretch this will help you to stretch it out to the right bpm or you, but a little maths is needed for this one.

5. Good luck and read the manual!

Reading the manual is like reading the bible for the first time. Can you explain it to me step by step?
