what is a good price/going price in US$ for a used 2000 xl stock model (2MB and no 8 outs)?

Just have a play on it and if everything seens ok ...
Try to check that all the connections are working fine (if possible), and obviously, cosmetic damage will give you an idea of it's age, use and how it's been treated . Can't help you with US prices sorry man . Only thing I can say is check ebay, and the for sale forum on this board .

i just suggest pressing EVERY button. including the shift button, arrows and especially the F butttons......of course all the numbers...

my right arrow and one of the F buttons seem to be acting funny now...

i would check the slider to make sure it does what its supposed to. I heard someone complaing one time about one of their outputs wasnt working. check your ins/outs. i know it may be a lot, but sh|t happens...

yeah man, one of F buttons is a little slow too, I have to press it like 3 times.....

Definitely press all buttons and check damage. Make sure it will load sounds from what ever drive is installed.

I wouldn't pay more than $800 for the stock XL.

hahahahahah!!! do u know how slow timestrecthing is on a MPC2000XL? u can go play a game of Tekken complete the game and come back with time to spare when it takes 2sec on a PC. and zoning is for novices, chop ya shit up the proper way. waste of money going from a 1000 to a XL.
