hi yall!
i wanna hook up my mpc and micro korg!
how do i assign a program on my micro korg to a certain midi ch?

for exemp: i record info on midi ch 2 on my mpc, then i wanna give out the data to the micro korg so that it plays exactly what i just recorded with the program i chose for that ch!

i read the manual and did a search in here...both didnt give me any clou of how this does work out!

i hate this midi shizzle everytzime....

madd madd easy man check it: on the left hand side where it says drum select midi 1a should corespond to the microkorg if you plug it to the output a the 1 is for midi channel 1 plug in out of korg to in 1 and go to midi sync options make sure its set to recive and then makes sure the midi channel is same as track

Actually, u can only hear one voice at a time from the sound engine, but u can use all the channels of MIDI on the MicroKorg to play different notes, do a search on here for more info about timbral and multi timbral.... such as... u can use all 16 of the channels of the MIDI on the MicroKorg, but you can only play one sound at a time from the Microkorg

here is a link, check this out http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php ... =microkorg
