Press Shift+Save and save an APS file.

While an APS would work, it is overkill. Since all you need to do is save a single program, then just select PGM and sa1ve that.

The main issue is that if you created a new drum kit and you wanted to add the program you already saved in the APS, you couldn't since loading the APS kills anything in sample memory. If you originally saved it as a program, you can easily load that in addition to anything existing in memory.

The same goes for midi files. No need to save an ALL file if you are just trying to save a single sequence.

Nope, you'll need to load those .aps and .all files again after the MPC is turned off and then turned back on and used again. It won't save them on there.

And I'd save, and do save .aps and .all files all the time just in case. Yes, it might be overkill, but I'd rather overkill it than not do it right. It's just a better way to be sure. Just my opinion.
