I just screwed up my Floppy drive

I was loading in some samples yesterday, and for some reason, the disk would never load (and I was only loading a snare, which is not a very large file). So, I let it sit for 30 minutes, and the light was still lit up on the disk drive. I take the disk out, and now the floppy drive will not read any disk. I can't even load my OS now!! Can I please get some help...

install a new floppy drive?

It's a standard PC floppy drive. Go to any PC store and get a floppy drive and replace your old one with that. Exactly the same cables and everything are already inside the mpc. You just gotta buy another floppy drive which will not be expensive at all.

or even better, if its a 2kxl install a multimediacard reader...u'd be better off with that....
