Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By prospect Sun Jun 19, 2005 2:54 pm
Ok, so now that I got the MPC1k, my 2k xl has been sitting around looking pretty and not doing anything.

I got an offer from somebody that I might take up.

Give up my MPC2k XL (8 outs, zip, 32mg) for a Yamaha Motif 6 (classic not ES) ?

The more I read about this, the better it sounds.
What are your thoughts?

Given that you have the 1K and don't really use the XL, I'd go for it .

You'll get the upper hand with that deal. You already have a 1k, now a motif. Yeah, I'd do it also.

Well... the other guy backed out of the deal.

I'm gonna put it up on eBay.

Thanks for your feedback guys.

Just get one...they are easily worth the money...If you've had keyboard of that class before, this should be a cinch for you, especially multis....

The motif is one of the best workstation keyboards you can buy. I have a motif classic and the mpc 2000xl, the combo is one of the best. Well i think so and wouldn't trade it because i'm in love with both the motif and mpc 2000xl.
