how do you sample your midi parts?

im pretty new to the XL
(been using a 1k for 18 months, and other stuff like it for a long time)

i like to sequence little midi parts on a synth (like a bass line, a sound effect or whatever) and then sample it into the mpc so i dont have to worry about having the synth hooked up later.

if anyone else does this, how do you get around it the mpc not being able to sample with the sequencer playing?

get another sampler....or record it to your computer and then sample it from there....
