Would you be able to assign the properties of the note variation slider to something external? I have a midi controller with a gazillion different knobs and sliders and i was wondering if one of those sliders can substitute for the nv slider. (im asking cuz my slider is broken, and its really hard for me to get around to fixin it)

just a thought

Yes, it seems to me you can; page 20 and 21 of the manual explain how you can assign an external controller to to de job of the not variation slider.

yeh you can, you need to find out the (ext) controller number you want to controll the NV slida and input it into the mpc under the NV menu.

ps. the nv slider can only be controlled and does not transmit data externally.

I think he means if you can use the note variation slider to change parameters on an external device, like use it to control tuning or pitch or volume on an external sound module.... the anser to that is no.
