Losing quality in my mpc2kxl samples.

i am far too lazy to chop in my mpc some times so i chop in adobe audition and then send those shits onto a cf card then into my mpc. sometimes though, when i record the mpc to my computer. i record it manually with my mpc (instead of playing song, just hit play and record..) sometimes when i press the pad on full level - i lose a slight bit of quality sometimes. its weird. let me know if you can help or know what im talking about. thank you.

it's hard to say from your description...but something that comes to mind is, if youve got a lot of sounds happening at once the 2k's output can overload and distort a bit. maybe it's that?
