Quick question about reason with my mpc

I don't think this is possible but can I sequence sounds from reason into my mpc2000xl? I know I can record the sounds as audio and then import them into the mpc but I want to do it as MIDI. I also have a motif rack if that helps at all..Thanks

not meaning to be a smart ass, but it is a midi production center.

good point...then how do u do it? and if you can then is it possible to use my motif rack and reason at the same time?

u could send a MIDI OUT from your Reason Computer to the MIDI IN to of one of the MPC's input... and connect a MIDI IN from your Reason Computer to the MIDI OUT to one of your MPC's output.... make sure in Reason, you can set it up to where the MPC can Control the Sequencing in Reason

u can do the same with your Motif, set the MIDI up the same way but let the MPC be the controller of both and this way u can still use the Motif as the MIDI Keyboard...and in the main screen, depending on which input you have the data coming in on the MPC, thats what are you going to set it to where "DRUM1" is, rotate your dial jog back to where it will say "MIDI 1A or 1B" or whichever number u have you MIDI set up on
