so im putting together this beat yesterday
it's 3 or 4 tracks of drums in a 16 bar sequence. like one high hat track, one bass drum/snare track together and one track with claps, all going for 16 bars. nothing complicated even, totally simple parts.
i go to overdub my juno106's midi on a new track. so i set the new track up for midi. i record from the start and 6 bars into it the beat stops even though the sequencer kept recording. like it was still clicking away with the record light on and everything, but i dont hear the drums.
so i go back to bar 6 and try to overdub from there but it still wont play the drum tracks.
i check out the high hat in step edit and from bar 6, just after the downbeat, to the end it is GONE. im like OKAY so i check out the other drum tracks and EVERY TRACK, from bar 6 to 16 is erased. but the juno recorded
WTF?
luckily before i went to put down the juno i had already copied the sequence to switch the HH to a ride. so i had a back up. but still, how **** weird is that??
anyone else ever see that? did i do something to cause that?
thanks!
