MPC2000XL with 8 Outs

I'm thinking on upgrading my MPC with 8 outs. But First I would like to know what can I use it for?

if you have a mixer in your set up its worth it but check the faqs on this page to get more info, you can use it to send each sample thru a different channel though, which helps on tweaking a sound thru the mixer by adding effects and what not.

can u redirect the sample back to the MPC with the newly effected sample then? and can i just put the signal straight through to my audio interface (Motu 824) without a mixer?
