how long does it take to get one from akia?,,, is there a better place to buy one?

I think they are currently on back order... a lot of people have been looking for them. You can try ebay, just make sure you get the right board.

just search around what i did was call a few music stores and found a mpc studio plus i pick it up for 1100.00 and swapt the parts and sold it back at 800.00 with 32megs so really i got the stmpe reader,8 outs, and the effects board for 300.00 witch is how about how much the 8 outs cost. so look around the net and make some calls

i went to guitar center, and they just happened to have one, nobody at the place could believe it.
