from a floppy i get disk read error?? What could the error be is the sample rate because the drum hits where save at 16bit in cool edit??

im trying to load up some drum hit i edited on my p.c into my MPC it reads them and tehy are there but when I try and load them up it says disk read error... unfortunatly it doesn't tell me what the error is I have saved my samples on the P>C as 44110 16bit mono... should I adjust the sample rate?

Did you save your sample as a PCM wave file in Cool Edit? The MPC only loads PCM waves (there are other types).

i have two zip drives one for the comp and one for the mpc, the files will load in cooledit, but the sounds double up, so there will be two kicks instead of one,
and the sounds are always about double the speed?
