What does this message mean when i turn my mpc on?

it means to load up the operating system disk

if you dont have the OS disk you cant use the mpc.

hit up akai's site if you dont have the lastest OS.

ok so, do i just load the OS onto a zip and put it in?

it will load up for a sec and then take you to the main screen for you to get to work.

if you have a floppy you can load the OS with that too

Right about now, it can't hold an OS.

Re-do the OS, hook the floppy drive cables in there real quick like
(no need to mount it in there just let it hang out. Re-do the OS and stop funking up your MPC.
