I've installed the above card reader and its been good. I ordered it from the US and I live in Australia... It would've been good to buy it locally and not have to go through the hassle of shipping etc (and shipping COSTS, that's the ****). But it was alright, and I couldn't find what I wanted in Aus. I got it in something like 5 working days as opposed to the slower method FedEx offer which was cheaper but would've taken fu*kin ages. No issues whatsoever. It'd be around the same time, maybe quicker, and probably cheaper to ship to yourself in the UK so go for it if you have no luck in your own area.

Yeah FEDEX was a b***h - about $40 extra (u do da math) - in total the order came up to about $95 but hey! No regrets ...multicard readers in MPC's are sweeeet 1gig storage is da one mate !

ok, all i wanna know is what a multi-card reader is and how it works....cause if its worth it i'll definitely add that to my 2xl if possible...i love staying updated wit this sh*t..so someone keep me posted pleez

Just means you replace the zip or floppy drive in your mpc with a (multi) card reader (such as the one below) and you can use cards (Compact Flash, Memory Stick, Smart Media, Secure Digital etc) to store your files (just like you would with your zip)
