Waddup ya'll? I hope somebody can help me out on this one.
Last saturday I had a studio session and I had to bring my MPC 2000XL and my Omega Zip drive to the studio. Before I left, I checked if everything was working and sh!t, make sure I took the right zip disk. Everything was proper. Got to the studio, sh!t didn't work. MPC didn't recognize Scsi 5 and gave question marks at the bottom. And I didn't change any settings, not on the MPC nor the Zipdrive. Connected another zipdrive to the cable, same error. Reloaded the OS, to no avail.
Is anybody in here familiar with this problem and does this mean my MPC 2000 XL is f@cked up or do I need to get another scsi cable? I heard it's very hard to find scsi cables with 50 pins on one and 25 on the other.
Holla back please, cause I'm dying slowly in here!!!!

??? marks mean that it's sort of communicating with the drive. You should also double check the settings on the drive SCSI Id should be on 5 and the Term switch should be on sometimes when moving your drive these can be "bumped" and changed
