Hello.. My Name is Lap.. My Friend just Bought an MPC and I've Been Trying to Create Him Some Samples in Wav Format on Cool Edit Pro.. Some of the Samples I Cut are a Success.. and some of them show something like Data Read Error or something Like This.. I Was Wanting to know if anyone Knew what the Problem would be.. and also, I Was Wondering if you can Save A Beat on your Mpc or Floppy.. Thanks if you can Help.. Peace.

You cant save a sequence as a wav or snd on the MPC no. Make sure youre saving the files as PCM WAV, any other type will not work. Dont put your disks near magnetic objects (speakers, etc)

okay.. thanks.. what pcm wav though.. there's three different kinds.. i've been saving them as windows pcm.. there's also dvi/ima adpcm wav and microsoft adpcm wav.. some of the ones i cut would actually work but some didn't i was wondering why it was doing it.. alot of them were mostly the same size about a second in length and they still wouldn't work.. others were a little longer.. but is there a size maximum on a sample or doesn't that have anything to do with it.. thanks again.

why don't you use wav2snd and load them as snd files? cool edit supports this.
