Simp[le n Stupid question about Midi and MPC2000

aiight here's the deal

I have my Trinity Rack properly hooked up to my MPC2K calssic and I got the controller keyboard n all. But here's where I run into problems.

I want to be able to use multiple patches to make a song, but lets say ill make a bassline on MIDI A1.. when I goto A2 the keys dont play, and if I select a new patch to play... itll play teh new patch on A1 and, so instead of having a bassline, id have some like horn sequence that wasnt ment to be..

I also knwo u can control teh rack IN the MPC LCD... how do you go abotu doing that....

I want to be able to save my projects and have the patches I recorded come up automatically next time I start up the MPC...

could someone tell me step to step how to do this cuz the MPC2000XL.net/com tuorial wasnt helping

when your ready for a new patch, you probably have to switch the midi channel on the triton, too. so change the midi channel on the mpc as well as the triton. make sure your working on the same channel on both...

that would cause that he always has to switch the midi channels and the appropreiate programs on the triton whenever he starts his project.

best and easyest way iss sure the one with step edit and inserting Cntrl Chng. MSB &LSB and program change...
