Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

ok,

i am trying to record the mpc sounds (zip disk loaded) to my cakewalk

sonar. i am looking for editing those sounds on sonar also.

either it is recorded with audio or whatever,

would some one please tell me the best way to record the mpc sounds( zip

disk loaded) to sonar??? thank you very much.

I dont use Sonar bruv, but it can not that difficult to do.

Do you mean samples, or complete tracks?

Connect the MPC output/s to the inputs on your mixer (if you use one) or directly to the inputs of your soundcard.

In your DAW (Sonar) prepare an audio track and arm it for recording.

Play your MPC tracks/or samples one at a time (or however you want to record them- 8outs?) and record them into audio tracks in Sonar.

Record your beats into Sonar as loud as possible without distorting them(max 0db).

Use Sonar (or other programs) to manipulate the audio tracks further to your liking.
