I could prolly give you a better answer if I knew what equipment you’re using midi-wise, besides the Micron and XP60. If that were all you’re using then the simple answer would be to run the Micron from “Out A” and the Roland from “Out B”. If a midi chain from one midi out is your goal then the answer is a little more complex.

Run and cable from the MP to the Micron’s midi in. Then, run a cable from the Micron’s midi thru to the XP’s midi in… if there’s another keyboard to be connected run a cable from the XP’s thru to the board’s midi in. I chain no more than three modules from each out because of the possibility of data corruption. That’s it for the connections.

Now you have to assign a midi receive channel in the keyboard itself. That’s prolly the only step you missed… but I like to be thorough. You have to refer to the owner’s manuals of your boards to find out how to go about this. Assign the keyboards/modules separate receive channels, and transmit midi data on separate tracks to the respective channels and it should be all gravy.
