A Few Mpc 2000xl questions needing help with

1. How do i eq my drums to make them sound hot
2. Where do the likes of Kanye etc get there drums sounds from? do they use these sample discs you can buy?
3. How do u speed up a vocal sample, but keep the actual music to its origional tempo

1). you should take a look @ the "Conquering EQ" book-------------------->
or get sessions with an engineer to teach you.

2). no. most of dem got session with drumerz, they have sound designers, and despite what some might think or say, THEY USE PRESETS & CLASSICS DRUMS like 808/909/R8/Linn/RY30....

3). VP9000/VARIOS/V-Synth/Antares Soft/ Sound Forge/V-Synth.
