Hey everybody.....my mpc has been making a crakling sound when i hit some of my pads....and now when i turn the voloume control nob it crackles even more and it also changes the pitch of the song or sound .....i have taken out my memory sticks and loaded it with just the mpc memory and it still does the same thing...i am so frustrated....I was hoping that it was just the memory sticks but since i took those out and it's still doing the samething....i'm baffled....can anyone give me some advice as to what might be going on....Please tell me this isn't one of those cases where i have to send my mpc to the factory....i bought the mpc used...and it worked fine when i bought it.

It could be a bad cable or something. How long have you had the cables?
What kind are you usin?
Have you tried switching them out?
Answer some of these things and then we'll go from there.

You have to go into the mpc with some sort of device(c.d. player,ipod,T.T.)and then after you have sampled something assign it to a pad and press it.Are you trying to play something without sampling first? If you are, that's the problem because the 2K doesn't come with preset sounds.
