Disable Local Control

Can somebody PLEASE tell me if there is a way to disable local control on the MPC2000xl? I am having a hell of a time transfering my mpc2000xl parameters into pro tools. all of the notes and sequences transfer, but my edited parameters (pitch attack decay etc.) are lifeless in pro tools. is this even possible???? local control was a guess for me...PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Found on SYNTHESISER KEYBOARDS.

Seperates the keys from the sampler section so that when you press a key on the synth the note (sample) is not triggered.

Local Control allows you to use your synth as a midi controller.

I know what you mean. You are azzed out bro. The parameters will not transfer into protools. Those features are local only to the MPC.

It's best to just make a whole new pad already pitched, attacked decayed.

Also, LOCAL is not what this refers to - but for those that want LOCAL OFF on the MPC - just switch the track to MIDI:OFF

That is not always correct. The XL has an actual LOCAL OFF mode.
