Yo, how come is my zip drive determined to be "Device: SCSI-5" and not just device #1?

Can I change this? And if so, how?

Thanx for your time :D

Most Zips can either be 5 or 6. Your MPC is always 6 so your drive has to be five. Appearantly there are Zip drives that offer 3 and 4 instead of 5 and 6, but I've never seen one personally.

Ok, fine!

I just thought it was weird that it was 5 by default and not just 1!

Thanks for the reply :D

your drive can only be ID 5 or 6 per the setting on the back, the mpc itself is set to scsi 6, so your zip ends up on 5.....
