i know you can load 256 seperate .wav files into the mpc at one time and you have a program that has 4 banks of 16=64. How do you access the 65th sound without changing programs is it possible. or would you have to change programs and remove say bank d and replace it with more sound you want to use. still only using a maximum of 64 sounds. ive seen in the mpc drum1 drum2 drum3 drum4 how do you use those or what do you use them for. is drum1 64pads/sounds drum2 65-128 drum3 128-192 drum 4 192-256
with layered drums, chopped samples scratches and vocal tidbits its not hard to fill all 64. i need acces to more than 64 in one program. because you cannot sequence program changes. even if i could record program changes into the sequencer. that still doesnt allow me to keep what ive got going 64 pads in use and add scratches and vocal samps.
anyone know how to acess more sounds like A and B are all drums C is a sample chopped into 16 D is a bassline chopped into 16. how do i add scratches without removing my bassline.. i need everything chopped so i can create layers and negative space. if i play the samples and bass all the way through all time it sounds wack its all about taking out parts at the right time the negative space, but that uses up all the pads.
