question regarding flash drive on an old mpc2000xl, help

ok so i had been checking some of the new mpcs at guitar center and saw that now along with zip drives etc they have those flash drives that support all that technical stuff, heres just what it is from the akai site
Internal Multi-Card Flash drive supporting smart media, SD card, muti media card, memory stick, compact flash & micro drive.

so i have an older mpc2000xl, with just a floppy drive on it, and my new laptop has all of those mentioned flash drive components on teh new mpc
my question is, is it possible for me to get some sort of external or internal device so i could utilze these flash drives on my laptop with my mpc? a la zip drive etc?
