Recording MPC-Computer w/o 8 outputs?

So i havent bought the 8 output expansion...and i now own a Mac mini and a Presonus FirePod......I want to put my tracks on the computer but i dont have the 8 outputs...so it seems to me that i have one option
(sorry if in wrong forum)
First, structure the sequences exactly where i want them throughout the entire track on the MPC(2000XL), and then record each track individually to the computer.......
With that said...... here is my question

By recording an entire track in this fashion, is there a way that i can somehow sync up my MPC with my computer recording program?...(i just got the mini very recently, so right now i'm just gonna try doing this on garage band....cant get the Cubase system working..and thats a whole nother thread) Cause if it doesnt sync...I'm going to have to record all of the tracks individually nd then try to find where they piece together in the song....... It wouldnt really bother me too much if thats the process i HAVE to take...but i just thought i'd hit up some other MPC heads to see if ya'll have some better suggestions

i dont think the firepod has MIDI on it, so what you could do is pick up one of those USB MIDI connectors, and try using it to connect the MPC to your Apple Mini, and if Garage Band uses MIDI that would work, or if not, i know u can sync it up with Cubase.

If you dont wanna do that, there are several other ways, such as, u can put the loop if there is a main loop going, onto the computer, and piece it all together along with copying and pasting... but there are plenty ways u can get around the eight outs.... you just have to be creative ... goodluck

Yeah u gonna need one of those MIDI connectors for your computer. Once you do that u can sync your mpc using Midi Time Code with Cubebase. Now for recording into the computer you can do two tracks at a time. But you have to pan one all the way to the left and the other one all the way to the right so u can record one track out left out and one track out right out on your mpc. Hope that helped.

Before I had MIDI sync capabilities, I wuold just leave a blank bar at the beginning of each track with a single snare hit on the first tick. Then Line 'em up based on where the snares were, then once they're lined up, cut out all the snares from the beginning of each track.

The firepod DOES have midi..... I've never worked with Midi Time code (never had a reason to sync things up so this is all new to me......

So since the firepod DOES have midi...is it possible to hook up my MPC to the Firepod Via MIDI, and then go USB from the FirePod to my Mac?
If so, do i need to hook up the midi IN and the Out on both systems?...or will it work if i just run MIDI out of the MPC and into the Firepod?

Its all so damn frusterating cause the firepod has 10 inputs, so if i had that 8 out expansion, i could easily hook all this up

I doubt GarageBand can sync with MTC. I checked help and only sync option I found was Rewire.
